IBM is set to acquire Software AG’s two cutting-edge enterprise integration platforms for a hefty €2.13 billion. This transformative acquisition targets Software AG’s StreamSets and webMethods platforms, integral components of the newly introduced Super Ipaas business.
Software AG’s Super Ipaas business, launched in October, encompasses these two platforms renowned for their prowess in application integration, application programming interface (API) management, and data integration, among other functionalities, as per Reuters reports.
Silver Lake, a prominent private equity firm, currently holds a dominating 93.3% stake in Software AG, the German software company at the center of this acquisition.
